Palmetto Dunes

Palmetto Dunes is a quiet, mid-island Plantation. I recommend it for families with babies and/or small children or "just the two of you". You can just enjoy staying between your villa, on site pool and the beach without dealing with a lot of traffic. But as I mentioned earlier you also have easy access to several Island activities including golf,tennis,water sports, fishing, fine dining and shopping. Several stores are located just across the street in Shelter Cove Harbour.

During the tourist season you can use mini vans commuting back and forth between those two resorts. This service is free.

There are several small ocean front resorts within the plantation.


Barrington Court

Some are busier than the others, so if you are looking for peace and quiet one of the following are always slow in motion and traffic when we visit every year: Captain's Walk, Windsor, Hampton and Barrington. We find Villamare usually busier than the others.
